An update if anyone is interested ! I waited 9 working days and called them and to be fair I got straight through and the girl ellen? Helen? was very helpful and went away to find out status and not only emailed me, but called me back too, so full marks there! However why wasn't i surprised by the news that the shipment had been lost and distributor had resent the order. (I do wonder when they would have let me know) . She offered me a number of options including full refund which I took and it was processed within the hour - I was impressed - would I use eyewearbrands again ? no apart from ellen, the customer service and shopping experience was stressful and very poor. I think 10 working' days (2 weeks to you and me) is too long to wait for standard sunglasses from a uk authorized dealer. (i bought them from shadestation - I'll get them by tomorrow! (and they matched the price too). and for one last time, no i don't know anyone at shadestation.0

For all us fellow cheapskates who want stylish sunnies that are tough and manufactured to stringent standards may i direct you to bolle safety eyewear as available on screwfix..

I can vouch for the Bolle safety glasses. Stylish, to me at least, but they feel a bit on the fragile side so I am looking for a similar product but a bit more substantially made.0
