so I am very close to the boundary of £20 a week but over by £2 a week so £8 a month yet I am expected to pay the full £90 a month after single person reduction?
so in theory they are saying I have a surplus of £8 a month to pay a £90 bill??
yet if I drop my working hours by 1 hr a week I would be entitled to full help as I would drop under this limit.?
does that sound right?
It would make sense to me if they said you are over by £2 a week so we will apply a reduction but minus the £2 a week. LOVE LIFE PROCEED & PROGRESS0 -

You would not qualify for maximum help if your income reduced by £2.00.
For every £1.00 income above your applicable amount you lose 20p Council Tax Support.
Your income is too high to qualify for any help.
If your income dropped by £3.00 per week then you would qualify for 20p per week . The every subsequent drop of income of £1 your Council Tax Support would increase by 20p.

so basically rather than saying 2 you can get help if you have a low income" it should say you are only entitled to it if you claim jsa or other benefits. because low income from what I can see means diddle squat
so as a working person you cant get lower than the minimum wage as I get
thanks for your help though:beer: LOVE LIFE PROCEED & PROGRESS0 -
It is possible to get council support without being on JSA. But with the student income and tax credits, your income is too high.Sealed pot challenge #232. Gold stars from Sue-UU - :staradmin :staradmin £75.29 banked
