Iphone 6 for £48.53pm? no upfront cost.

Just looking at an iphone 6 (plus) with 64gb.
If I renewed my contract with three, it is £56pm with a £99 upfront cost over 24 months (unlimited data option). Total cost over 24 months is £1,443 (getting quite dear these contracts aren't they?)
However, looking on the apple site, the phone can be bought with finance over 24 months at £33.53pm for the phone itself (unlocked) and then you can add on a £15 pm rolling all you can eat 3 sim card. Total cost over 24 months is then £1,164.72
a saving of £278.28 over the term.
or have i missed something?

Is Apple offering 0% finance for 24 months? If not then you can buy it using a 0% interest credit card or buy it from Giffgaff at 9.7% interest rate.0
