Did not sleep well last night, so have just woken from am extended Nana nap.
Monday clean done, also spent some time in the garden putting bulbs in and changing the plants in the contaiiners on the front. My back started telling me to give up so I did. Will finish planting later in the week.
Chicken in the pan for chicken in yogurt sauce for supper, blackberry and apple crumble for dessert left from last night.0 -
Afternoon all... another early start for me today... 4 loads of washing hung out by noon & its drying very, very slowly. No rain here but its been grey all day.
Very excited this morning as I've booked the family to go see Santa at the Black Country Museum in Dudley in December. The lovely lady at the booking office said the phones been ringing off the hook since Sept 1st so it seems we were lucky to get in
I've been there a few times but never at Christmas & I can't wait!
I thought I was early getting it done now so we didn't have the added expense in December but I shall know for next year!!
Sold a few items on Ebay today as well and am putting the funds towards the children's Halloween outfits... one wants to be a ghost & the other wants to be Bart Simpson & I'd like to get myself a nice jumper that I've seen on there.
I trying really hard at the moment to think at least 1 or 2 months in advance of things we might, so that I can sell our unwanted items on Ebay, to make enough money to cover the new things we need. Decluttering & effectively not spending any extra money.... at least that's the plan!
tru your holiday sounds lovely
Downstairs has had a once over, lasagna padded out with grated carrot has been cooked ready to be reheated for when the wanderers return from football training later this evening & will be served with garlic bread.
It's me, the dog & my crocheting until then &... the suns just come out!0 -
It as been raining on and off all day here and is very dull, what a difference to yesterday.
I had the doctor this morning and they have started me on yet more drugs for my cholesterol it is added to the simvastatin that I already take, even though my cholesterol has actually gone down to 5.4  it is because I am diabetic so I should be below 4.8 lower than the general population
I saw a leaflet on the receptionists desk about sharing medical data under a new name, which I have already refused but they keep trying to sneak in........$*$£*^%$!
When I told her I and my family refused she was taken aback and said that I was the only one who had done so. Probably because no one has been told about it :mad::mad:
I also told them to take me off of the electronic prescription service because the chemist has got it wrong on three occassions and I can't keep track of what is due and when, which they have done
Then I had to go to podiatry which is actually an appointment that I don't mind, it is a pedicure and foot check so very relaxing.
When I got home the hospital rang me about the follow up appointment for my biopsy and she was very apologetic that I had been sent to the wrong consultant so she has put everything right for me.
I now have a morning appointment with my proper consultant in November. :T

Very touched as dd went out for a range of soft drinks to tempt DH to stay hydrated.
She not only came back with about five different fancy soft drinks but with a PAYG mobile phone for me which she has programmed for me so I can phone a taxi firm while we are at the hospital tomorrow. She even got one with big buttons so it is easier to operate :j
BB
Good luck with the consultant in November.
