This seems to work but it has only done the first page how do I get it to do the other pages?

Do one page at a time.

I don't know how to as it doesn't give me the option to select a certain page.

  • Without wishing to sound dismissive, in the time that you have been struggling with the conversion, could you not simply type the whole thing into word? CV's aren't usually more than a couple of pages so shouldn't take more than 10 minutes.

Already suggested and he's passed that on to the CV owner. I do hope it's not a job in IT that is being sought...

To split a PDF document into separate pages use something like http://smallpdf.com/split-pdf
  • I've used zamzar.com to convert PDF files to Word or text documents, with generally good success. I've done 700-odd page manuals which include tables and images. Obviously if I convert to text, it doesn't include the images, but Word usually does.

  • CutePDF is also good for splitting multi page pdfs.,
