EE Customer Service

Currently trying to get a PAC for my Orange phone. You can only request this over the phone and they're predicting a 45 minute wait time. IMO this is pretty poor customer service.

I was on hold for about 45 minutes and eventually got through. Spoke to someone and they put me on hold again, but finally got my PAC.

The retention offers weren't very good, so now I'm going over to 3.

This wont work. EE stores dont get a special number (or if they do its no better). I had to wait in an EE store for 40 mins when the sales bloke screwed up a new sim only contract. I noticed just before i signed it that he had put it for 24 months instead of 12. After 40 mins i ripped up the paper work and walked out.

I must just be lucky. It took me just under 3 minutes using that number to navigate the incredible number of barriers - sorry, menu uptions - before speaking with a human (at least, it might have been one) to give a cancellation notice, although I then had to spend about another 15 minutes waiting to get through to a different department to do it in order to avoid it terminating in 30 days instead of late November. All done and dusted in a normal timescale.

I was after my PAC from O2 earlier this month. Attempted to do this over online chat. They offered me their best deal (be being an O2 customer since 1996/97) and they were still £1 dearer than Tesco.

I re-asked for my PAC on 3 separate times during the 59 minute online chat, before they finally said 'OK, I'll just generate this now'.

Mysteriously, the Chat session then ended

Later that day, I again went for the PAC and was given the 'Lets see what we can do for your' spiel. The came back with same £15.99 offer, which again is £1 dearer than Tesco.

I finally got my PAC that time, but the chat session, including wait time was 1 hour 50 minutes.
