No, I couldn't believe it either, but it's true and I've adjusted - why I'm on here actually:rotfl: but still cross - was a projection, yes, but one I saw come to fruition for older colleagues and had no reason to think it wouldn't for me. Nuff said. Am a pretty cheerful person in RL, don't think my RL friends would recognise me here, probably for the best...Cheering up immediately, as instructed :j
Thanks Brogden x
It's always a bit worse going forward isn't it?
Those old timers didn't half have it good didn't they? (True)
Are you sure you are not now looking at a projection of the new scheme in isolation and not taking account of everything you have built up in the old scheme to last year?0 -
Absolutely certain, but ho hum xI have borrowed from my future self
The banks are not our friends0 -

Hi INOD......of course I didn't think you or anybody else was prying!!
To be honest it won't reduce household spends by one beef sausage!!

Bliss :j I am on leave until the Tuesday after the bank holiday which means...........a week from now I will still be off work
:D:D!!
I am quite pleased with myself as over the weekend I have finished redecorating the wall in my office / leisure room which was replastered following the damp issue.......this is hopefully now cured (started this last week actually) but that's lining paper, emulsion, skirting - just got to roll the carpet back in place and vac and dust  At the same time I have touched up the hallway walls where the DD's deposit bits of dinner as they walk through from the kitchen  !!
As I have been a bit involved in 'extra-curricular' jobs and P&F's I am fully aware of a 'slipping' in my MSE-accounting disciplines and rolls of paper / cans of paint have made the spending pattern a little non-routine.......SO.......an hour or two on the spreadsheets is required so I know exactly where I am up to. I will then fill the daily envelopes up to payday!!
I need to keep in mind that my 'P&F by instalments' to the Carboot Hellifax debt require an extra £500 during April and a further £500 during May. I am being motivated by the fact this will have a very good effect on the signature when completed. This gives me a slight dilemma as I am still considering the pension contribution to pay in April as I have to select that online by the end of tomorrow  !! I'll have to mull that over as I vac!!
Also.....if the weather improves I will get outside to clear a shameful pile of debris from the garden. Its horrible having such a messy garden with everything soaking wet and the rain too heavy to go and do something about it!! It might be better today
!!
Happy Monday all
