I ordered a tv from john Lewis a few months back. They phone me up just before delivery to say they had gone the wrong way and we're stuck on the other side of a low bridge. They asked me to walk half way down to meet them (about 500m) where they handed the television over to me.

It was a very strange transaction.

Got a good price on the tv though.
