Littlewoods/Yodel Non-Delivery. Forged Signature?

Why not simply state to Littlewoods / Very that you have not received the delivery and ask them to provide proof of delivery?

Exactly the same thing happened to me back in Oct 2012. It was for a laptop £1500 ordered by me but never received by me but signed for and delivered to whom I do not know. However Littlewoods insisted I pay the full amount because the laptop had been signed for and delivered, so that's the end of the matter for them. Once I became aware that phoning and sending them letters via recorded delivery will get me no where I contacted the citizens advice bureau. CAB advised me all the way. I initiated court proceedings and 2 weeks before the court date, I had to send my case bundle (all my evidence that I will rely on in court) to both the judge and Littlewoods. Once they received my case bundle Littlewoods solicitor contacted me to settle the case. Littlewoods had nothing concrete to state that I had indeed received the laptop. 18 months of torture for something they could have done 12 months ago.
