Sounds about right.0 -
Thanks for all these messages here. Just would like to add two things:
1. I could never believe or understand that to get into your Paypal account where some people might hold several credit cards with only ONE lousy password. (Should be at least three different pieces of info like online banking.)
2. Unfortunately SOME buyers are impatient in that they don't even look at a seller that doesn't accept Paypal.
Sad, but true.....:rolleyes:LBM - May 2008

will be closing my paypal account as soon as i get my issues resolved. two amounts of money taken from my account without my permission, one changed into euros the other dollers. there wasnt enough funds in paypal so the money came from my bank taking me over my overdraft! totally had enough and cant wait to leave!0

I have just had paypal transaction reversed a few days ago, even though:
1) I have sent the item to a confirmed address
2) I have sent the item within 7 days
3) I have a premier account
4) Item is a tangible good
5) I have proof of postage (Roal Mail Special Delivery)
Paypal have said it was a fraudulent transaction and it is not eligible for seller protection even though all the above points are covered. I don't see what more I could have done to avoid this chargeback.
If anyone has any ideas how I could this resolved, please let me know.
Although the shipping address is confirmed, it needs to be the same as the billing address for paypal to cover you. did the addresses match?0 -

Totally agree with you - that is awful, but what is a good alternative for payment? So many buyers want to pay instantly on Ebay and haven't got the patience to send cheques or postal orders. If you have an idea let me know. I think Paypal is now actually owned by Ebay.LBM - May 2008
