Morning all
Hester I wish I was going to your cake sale, that all sounds yummy!
Very overcast here so not sure if I will risk putting a wash on. I'm hopping into a bath in a mo, and then I need to give the house a damp cloth as the dust seems to coat everything within two days.
Everyone are such rat bags in the morning here, I'm always bright eyed and bushy tailed the minute I wake up but having to deal with a load of old grumps is starting to get to me. I think I will have to read the riot act later
I hope everyone has a good day today and have nice things planned for their weekends. Hugs to all in need xx0 -
Our 27th wedding anniversary today so DH is taking me to the water mill in a little while and we are going out for dinner later.
Molly positive vibes and lots of ((((Hugs))))

Morning all,
didn't sleep well last night. I had an overdose of caffeine just to get me through the evening. I was shattered by the time my Grandson went home. He was tired (he has to get up very early when his Mummy goes to work) and snotty and very grumpy.
Loads of laundry to do, loads of vacuuming to do and of course the ritualistic kitchen floor.
Tea will be thrown together.:rotfl:
I wish I was 20 years younger.
Onwards and forwards,
have a great day all. This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0 -
Good morning everyone
Doctor says I have got a virus and I need plenty of fluids and rest. Gosh I am so glad he had 7 years medical training to tell me that!
Well wishes for all sick people and pets and hugs for those that need or just want them. Keep well and safe and have a super day.

Hello all,
A beautiful day here with a lovely blue sky.
Took DD into town to the bank and went for coffee and then she wanted to go to Mr T because they had sent her a load of vouchers. Home now and just having cheese and biscuits.
I have a beef casserole in the slow cooker which smells delish, and will do that with creamed potato and dumplings for Himself:j
TTFTM so you waited almost a week to be told you had a coughing virus:eek:. I think you knew they would say that is there anything we can catch these days that isn't a virus.
Hester I hope the cakes are selling well, it is a cause close to my heart. After my Dad died Mum and my 2 sisters and I raised quite a lot of money and it really helped us knowing we were doing something constructive.
MOLLY like Lyn says I am sorry you are frightened about going into hospital again, and we can't do anything for you except be here when you want to talk, but please remember we will all be with you in spirit and wishing you well:A
LYN you sound a very proud Mum and DD must have been on such a high I wonder how long it took her to go to sleep:D
Well I am just having a rest and then I must do some tidying in the kitchen but other than that nothing in particular planned.
Have a good day

Hello all
Only 3 of us in the pool this morning, it was lovely.
Bit cloudy down here, but washing out.
Just made some spag Bol sauces which should see us through until we go in holiday.
Discovered some lovely bread flour in A!di today and bread rising and some in the oven, so far so good.
Strictly back on tonight, yippee, don't think I know all the 'celebrities', but I do like the frocks and general glitter of it all.
Have a good weekend all, hugs to all those that need them. XxCarolbee0 -
Afternoon all,
Hugs to all who could use some, been a crazy week here since BIL's unexpected death on Sunday, all my children home for funeral and hospital test for me on Wednesday which meant I missed the funeral. All gone now except for DD3 who goes back to Australia next Friday, its been bedlam butquieter now and my test was fine, nothing sinister detected, back in2019!
Molly, please gtake care of you, we are all here for you.
TTFTM.....glad that doctor was able to diagnose your problem!
Judi....special hugs re Mam.
Going to make dinner .....steak in a bit, with lots of spuds for DD3, potatoes in Perth are not like Irish ones, to say the least!
Take care everybody, stay safe and well

Afternoon all
Sorry I have been a little absent, days are going very quickly atm!
Happy Anniversary Butterfly!
Have spent the afternoon reading up on narrow boats and living aboard, it's both really exciting and terrifying at the same time, but we'll never know if it's the right thing to do or not if we don't try! I am certinaly looking forward to the different way of life - just hope we can find a residential mooring without too much trouble.
Did a food shop last night and with OH's discount it came to under £50 and should see us through the next 3 weeks or more. Tonight we have veggie fajitas on the menu, planning on lots of batch cooking this weekend, shepherds pie, cakes and soups.
Staying in tonight as working tomorrow, looking forward to snuggling on the sofa with my book. The rock 'n' roll life i lead eh!
Hope everyone is okay
