Netflix via wii

Finally have a broadband speed fast and stable enough to be able to use Netflix and iplayer


I'm accessing Netflix via my wii. Now I've been reading that you can use a hosting service on pc's etc to be able to get American content

Does anyone know what I need to do so I can access it via the wii?

I'm on Bt home hub 5

    Get a US IP address. Proxy either free or paid for. Several options.

    I was told a few months ago I couldn't do the American Netflix via the wii. ok with xbox and playstation etc but the wii settings are very limited.

    Do share if you find otherwise though :)

    You can use a Wii if you make your router do the work to change to a US IP address.
    Time has moved on (much quicker than it used to - or so it seems at my age) and my previous advice on residential telephony has been or is now gradually being overtaken by changes in the retail market. Hence, I have now deleted links to my previous 'pearls of wisdom'. I sincerely hope they helped save some of you money.
