    completely correct. so just find out the budget and choose something.

    one thing that worked well for us was the boss agreeing that if we set a 'lunch' for 2.30pm, no one had to go back to the office. The budget paid for lunch, everyone brought a secret santa present that cost no more than £3 (three things from Poundland was a popular way to go) and they went in a big black lucky dip bag. Then anyone who wanted to carry on - on their own budget - went on to a pub followed by a club for those still going. Worked for us.
