Prototype of Sammy is almost done :D

We went shopping last night, I wasn't going to bother because only fresh stuff was needed and the two mini-mes can pick that up when they need it. But I had all three of the Morrisons Payback vouchers (I don't often manage to get all three anymore) and I wasn't going to throw away £10. Bought extra loo rolls, toiletries, etc. so that should keep us going for a while.

I have to get some antibiotics today for one of the chickens. The vet is leaving a couple of syringes at the desk for me, he's happy for her to have them without seeing her because the symptoms are exactly the same as the other girls had. Which is just as well, because I'm not sure you're allowed to take a chicken on the bus? lol. The other girls have recovered so I'm not too worried about this one. I'll give her one dose tonight, our friend said he'd pop round on sunday to do the second injection.

Mr tru got the cases down from the loft last night, I had most things ready yesterday so it'll only take a few minutes to pack.

Mornin' everybody :hello: - definitely cooler mornings at the moment - but still got windows 'on the snip' all night and 'open' during the day :j.

Had busy day yesterday, so no chance to read properly and post - hope everybody is OK and sending HS18791paws.gif to all who need one.

Another busy day ahead - in the CS for the full day - and then off to DS2's house this evening. Their youngest child's school has got it's first Teacher Training (or INSETT) Day tomorrow and they need somebody to look after him ................... 'Mu-u-um! Are you busy?' Oh Yeah, when am I NOT busy :rotfl:! DS2 is off to Portugal with his future FIL for a 'Lads Golfing Weekend' - I just don't know how that lovely girl of his puts up with him :).

Hope everybody has a good day with lots of lovely OS-ing :D.

Take care all, luv Lilylonk xxx

Lamewolf - healing vibes to Mr LW and to you - I can understand that you are very worried. Glad he is home xxxx
I must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer.
Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration.
I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over and through me. When it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path.
When the fear has gone there will be nothing. Only I will remain.

Hi everyone,

A quick one from me because I have to finish packing to be on my way soon. I'm going up to sis-I-l's, to see the new baby. Then tomorrow I need to go to meet some more estate agents at mums and then on to Yorkshire.

DD and a friend are coming up on the train or the weekend with DH. I had a lovely meal with DD last night, but the best thing was the conversation - we don't seem to get as much one to one time as we used to and we made up for it last night, we had a great time.

Have a good day.
• Morning all beautiful and sunny here in Kent ATM.All of the ironing done and dusted,so today its whizz round with the hoover and dusting etc.I want to make sure when I go into hospital on sunday I will come home to a reasonably tidy house and not have anything to do for a couple of days
Youngest DGS is playing for his school this morning in a football match so he is a very happy little boy.The other two have an early finish at 2.00 as its parents night tonight so I'm only here for the morning.I also have my gardener coming this morning to give the garden a mow and tidy up.he's worth his weight in gold as he keeps my garden looking nice and an hour a fortnight for £12.00 is money well spent I think. His cash comes from my essentials account along with the window cleaner once a month. I do what I can, and what i can't, I pay for.life is far too short and precious to waste worrying about what I can manage.
Right, I'm off to have some coffee and breakfast
have a good day everyone

• Good Morning everyone, another lovely morning here in the south but decidedly cooler which is nice. Cooler last night too and I actually needed a coat when we walked to the pub quiz, definately autumn now!!!

I'm having a quieter day today to finish lots of 'little' jobs that all add up to quite a lot of time in the day when you put them together but they need doing. My lovely nephew Tim passed his driving test yesterday and lucky lad, his Mum won a brand new car when she and my brother bought thier new car, they were entered into a competition by the company and got lucky, so he has a brand new vehicle to drive, wow!!! We also won the quiz last night which has added substantially to my christmas fund, can only be good.
MOLLY sorry to hear you've got problems over dad again love, why oh why do the people doing the admin for older folks who need residential care not know of things as important as funding levels from the start, it surely can't be that hard to spot. Hope you can sort it out without too much hassle petal.

Have yourselves a really lovely day everyone and enjoy this late sunshine before it goes for the winter, Lyn xxx.

Morning all

Been for a swim, the sun was shining right on the water in the pool, was so lovely. Bit nippy first thing, but so bright and sunny.

WM on, plan on some gardening today. DH pottering in the garage making his cutlery items again, a set of hooks made from forks to take to rellies we will see when in holiday.

Leftovers to eat the freezer down again, nearly there now, will finish in time for holidays.

Hugs to those who need them, I love Lilyplonks hugs, in fact all her smilies, etc.

• Morning all,

didn't get on yesterday, the proverbial hit the fan at work, ended up in tears in the middle of the office :( very unhappy here at the minute and only the mortgage stopped me telling them where to stick it. Thankfully I'm a bit too sensible sometimes!
Anyway, missed the news but it sounds like there are lots of poorlies so I hope you're all feeling a bit better today. Have a big bear hug!

Doctor was very nice (am new to this practice) and found her easy to talk to, I've got blood tests this morning where they will check my allergy to milk/cheese/egg, they are also checking my thyroid (underactive for 11 years now).

Got taken out for tea last night, the bf is very sad I'm going away for two weeks, says he's going to miss me :) bless. Had a lovely meal at the hand made burger company which I've always loved. For the first time though my burger wasn't hot when it arrived, I'd already mentioned to the bf that it seemed to be taking longer than normal so whether it was sitting waiting to be 'delivered' I don't know. Told the waiter who was hugely apologetic, took it back and five minutes later there's a fresh new piping hot burger in front of me. I felt bad that he was obviously affronted it happend so I explained I'd loved eating there before so it wouldn't put me off coming again, everywhere has errors on occasion but how they dealt with it made me happy. I think it's mainly in the midlands (we are (or were) the only one in Scotland) but I love their range of chicken burgers as I don't eat red meat often.

Tonight I'm hitting the gym then coffee with a friend. Need to try and do some housework and packing too.

Have a good day all and have more hugs where they're needed or wanted

• Morning all,

Didn't make it here yesterday. Too busy trying to work out how to use my new phone. I have gone from a very simple text/call phone to a Windows one. DH tried to be helpful but it ended up very wrong!! Still I have it all working now, just need to work out what all the icons mean.

Sunny here again today and I have no washing to do. What a waste of a bright and breezy day I say.

BIL is coming home from hospital today, so will call him this evening.

Hugs for those who are feeling poorly today or who need a supportive hug :)

Chicken for dinner tonight and I need to bake some more cakes.
• Good morning all,

Quite overcast here, but have stripped the bed anyway.

Went fo the Hospice shop this morning after Himself had a clear out of trousers and shirts and they seemed to have quite a lot of stock on the shop floor.

Have just made 2 blackberry and apple crumbles, so one for us and one for the freezer.

LW I am so sorry your DH has been in hospital, you must have been worried sick. I hope you both had a restful night last night.

TTFTM are you still going to see the GP tomorrow? You didn't sound vry well in your post this morning.

JackieO good luck for Sunday I hope everything goes well, I know you are looking forward to the end result :)

Molly it sounds as though the consultant definitely wants you to have the op soon, I know you have such a lot on your plate at the moment, but you must think of yourself.

Healing vibes and hugs to anyone who needs them
