Corban Direct - Dont refund money

I read on here that people had at last got their money back by joining twitter and bombarding the Corbandirect Twitter account. I did the same. AND wrote reviews on their Amazon products. The next day I rang CorbanDirect insisting on speaking to a manager. After a LONG wait I was put through to Tim Sewell and he told me that as we were speaking my refund was being processed - he was watching it happen. (So they CAN do it straightaway). I am very relieved to say that the money is back in my account - although they have taken off 70p!!!

So, bombard Twitter and Amazon - I did both (your complaint is being seen in public by potential customers of theirs), don't be fobbed off and then complain. I am now going to claim back for the day's leave I had to take to wait in for the non existent courier, which I read about on this site. And yes, they are Direct Bedroom.

I too only looked at the reviews on their own site - something I'll never do again. With hindsight it makes sense that they'd put a few duff reviews to look realistic and then plaster the rest with reviews singing their praises - are these reviews real? Well, not if you compare them with those on Trust Pilot - a site I will use in future .

I had the same problem, no delivery, cancelled order after 3 weeks, no refund although several requests and promises to do so. Followed advice here and it only took two tweets to get someone to call me and within 24 hours my money back in my account. My recommendation - do not buy from this company
