So now i need to hide my purse. Have decided this year its only the kids we'll buy for. So i am now half way through my shopping.

Had a wobble at lunch but resisted so NSD #18 is well and truly in tact.

    Today was NSD#14 :j

Only bought bread and milk(my only allowable spends apart from petrol) today.Probably wouldn't have needed to buy those until tomorrow except OH had come home early from work due to feeling unwell, and only fancied simple meals,so lots of bread needed.Saved me cooking a fancy meal, anyway.

    I am sorry,ETO

So sorry about your sudden loss ETO. I can't imagine how awful that must be. I recall my grandfather passed away like that, it was terrible for my grandma (although I was too young to really understand) but apart from work, the only other place he'd rather have been would have been the golf course. Big hugs, don't think too much about spending at the moment at all, but we're here when you need a forum to let out thoughts. xx

No NSD today, got clobbered for lotto £ at work (why we bother I don't know, barely ever win £25) and then got some makeup sponges for fancy dress tomorrow.

So, that means Thurs and Fri HAVE to be NSD to meet target....wish me luck!

I need just one more NSD so tonight I'm saying a little prayer!

“Lord, grant me the strength to accept that I don't need to spend all my change,
the courage to keep the change in my purse for one more day,
and the wisdom to know the difference between hitting and missing my target is a measly 24 hours."
