And today makes a fabulous 12 NSDs!!!
IGOR, are you practising your Halloween recipes already? I've just found a bit of bat wing in my German sausage- not so much a Bratwurst, more like a Batwurst.......One life - your life - live it!0 -
NSD total = 11
I was "fired" from my current bank staff job at a nursery because I was late almost all of time time because of the buses.
It's a sigh of relief thought because i didn't enjoy it much at all.
I was going to go to primark to see if there were any cheap jumpers and trousers since A food bag full of 4 rooms dinner (soup) exploded everywhere and got me covered. but then decided to just get the bus home and have a shower.
Good news is I have 8:00 - 5:30 tomorrow and Thursday at a nursery i love and wanted to go back to. And I get to pick and choose my days off again since i'm not working a full week. Not that I choose not to work all the time, but after me going on non-stop I need a little break. plus i have some "appointments" booked.
Friday - meeting with another nursery to go through details of a room support job
Next tuesday - Hearing appointment to see what the gromit in my ear is doing
SO I've opted not to be on call for friday, Monday or tuesday.
Good luck to everyone else - most are so close now! :beer:NSD 3/25 | SA: £38.00 | EF: 38.130 -
I've finally grasped a 3rd NSD. Can't see me making 10 this month, especially with half term next week, but will try my mightiest.

What matters is how we live and love and how we spend our dash. (L Ellis)0 -
Declaring nsd #9 today. Not been out except to Hoover the car out.
Made hm spicy chips with dinner, also a Thai butternut squash soup and a lemon curd Victoria sponge.
Seem to have quite a lot in the fridge to use up, and not a lot of space in the freezer to put anything. Might need to borrow one of Igors cookery books
Noooooooo! anything but that (at the moment his favourite is a smash up of Keith Floyd and Heston Blumenthal!)Must use my stash up!0 -
NSD 4 yesterday
It's slow-going this month but I should get a few more in the next week as I've ran out of money now til payday - always helps me stop spending!Starting 2016 debt-free
Emergency Fund: £350/£10000 -
Good morning fellow beer-swilling (hic!) non - spendy folk!
The front page has been updated and we have a super total of ....307 nsds !!!
That's an average of 8.5 nsds each!!!
No Igor,I don't know what to do with the point fives...If you want to sweep them up and add them to the C o D,then that's fine with me.
Yesterday was an unexpected 'true' nsd for me.
DeafLeopard too bad about the job.Sounds like you have lots of options though.
kerri gt dodgy hug alert! :grouphug:
PS do people still say 'well dodgy'?0 -
BTW,if we want to beat last month's impressive figures, then by Friday,we need to have 322 nsds. So,at least 15 nsds by Friday - I think that we can do it! :j:j
Igor is busy preparing a celebration cake as we speak!!!:eek:
Just don't ask him what's in it....he's more of a savoury bod and is prepared to go one better than Heston. You might regret reading the next few lines, but I heard him muttering about chocolate chicken sponge cake with pink ferrety buttercream filling (for Hubert),savoury Bratwurst shprinkles, and a side dish accompaniment of snail ice cream.
Can't wait.....:rotfl::rotfl: :eek:0 -
Well I can add number 10 for yesterday, was too tired to post it last night.
Hopefully if today goes to plan there will be another one in the bag but it's still early in the day!0 -
I can't wait either, marmite, ask Igor to serve it up now and put us all out of our misery. Then if kerri distracts Hubert by showing him her new eight inch heel pink stilettos, some of us can load him up with the offending food and tell him to "just take this old stuff to the tip,Hubert" and the rest of us can distract Igor by threatening to throw his recipe book collection in the charity bin.....
Knitwitch you need to get a move on knitting the cobweb bunting, you realise the German Oompah band need Halloween cozzies as well? And don't forget Die Guten Alten Jungen are now back from their stint in cabaret with the Berliner Polizei, so will need knitted basques and suspenders a la Rocky Horror.........One life - your life - live it!0 -
NSD #14 yesterday. I don't think I've ever had so many spendy days left available at this point of the month!
I'm so desperate to go another day before we spend the inevitable, I've said I will cook this evening for us, else OH will no doubt go and buy extra bits (I NEVER cook!)Debt Free I FFEF I Building Savings I 2025 Plan:- Regular Savings £7,400/£10,000
