The One and Only Oktoberfest NSD Challenge!

NSD #6 for me today.

At work all day then home for tea, dozed off on the bed with little man so feel a little out of sorts at the moment.

Have got to get contact lens solution tomorrow as I forgot to pick it up on weds, it is a necessary spend but as I'm trying to be more organised with spend days it will count as a spend, but I may also pick up a newspaper too whilst I'm out. Hopefully no more than that though.

Just popping in quickly to declare number 7 .

I did really enjoy breakfast and managed to get to bed fairly early despite having to go for supervision on the way home but that went okay.

I'm quietly practicing my triangle but due to having a chap sleeping on the sofa for over the weekend I can't be too loud :rotfl:Hopefully someone is moving on so we can get this chap into a bed next week.

Well done everyone, lots coming in this month :T

Why haven't I taken this challenge before?!
I've always been pretty good with my spreadsheets but now I keep a spending diary, keep a running total of what I'm spending in each category (eg food, car...), and resist the urge to spend frivolously. OK - so it's only been 10 days but I'm chuffed so far! Thank you, everyone, for the inspiration.


NSD 7/10 for yesterday.


Today will be spendy though...

The b****y cat woke me up and I can't get back to sleep,which is why I'm updating just now. :mad:

Yesterday was quite a spendy day.The Co-op has 25% off all toiletries if you buy 2 of each,and the 10th of the month is when my chemist has a special offer of 19% off all non-prescription items.I need to sit down and sort through the receipts,as I'm pretty sure I've gone over budget.

There is one item I'd meant to buy yesterday,but my local Co-op doesn't stock it,so I think I'll allow myself to buy it today and still count today as an nsd,as it should be my only purchase.

It's absolutely tipping it down here.I hope it clears,as I've got some pansies to plant -I got 10 on special offer.Apparently they're frost- resistant.Lovely bright colours.

good morning all. I'm having a bit of an NSD drought at the moment. We've had quite a few days with commitments after school/work which means time is short in the evening, we are tired and no-one feels like cooking. So we've been having ready meals or sneaky MacDs.

I desperately need a haircut as well so hoping to get an appointment today. I've gone as long as I can, cutting my fringe a few times with the kitchen scissors, but I look like hairy Jeremy now.

Hopefully I'll being logging on with NSDs after the weekend.

A couple of night shifts later.... I may look and feel like the walking dead, but I've managed to sneak another two NSDs into the Cauldron of Doom making my total 5 NSDs!!
