Wow so many coming in :jThe Narglehounds will be worn out!

I am also throwing another one into the pot today bringing me up to number 6 :j:j. It's a work night and I have been finding them much easier since eating properly before I come in and not going to the shop on the way in but today was a bit of a struggle . We had our team meeting at 1.00 this afternoon, she tries to be fair and one is my last night and the other persons first night and the next one will be the other way round. This time it was my first night so I slept earlier than usual last night and then just relaxed after it before coming in and despite feeling okay (I mean I can do it when I go out the day after a night shift so the feeling of 'I'm too tired to go to work' was all in my head) my head kept telling me 'You really need to buy chocolate to get through the night:eek:
I even started trying to justify it by 'If I use change it won't really be a spend' and some such rubbish but I just kept repeating NSD NSD NSD until the thought passed and it worked :j So no chocolate and no spend; got to be good for me on both counts

Oh and have been offered another overtime shift on Sunday night at the end of my four nights run Couldn't be better really because as well as the extra money next month I have booked five days off which means that from 19th I won't be back in until 1st November :j:j and will get some rest, I'm off to a retreat on 24th, 25th and 26th (already paid for:)) and then off to my mum's the day after I get back so will get a rest and NSDs

So all in all am a happy bunny tonight

The front page has been updated.

We have a super-dooper total of 136 nsds and with 35 nsders actively taking part,that's a average of 3.8 nsds each.

No,Igor,I don't know what to do with the point eight nsds either.However I don't think that they would blend well with your manky kipper and sauerkraut mix.

Now,run like the wind [STRIKE]Bullseye[STRIKE][/STRIKE][/STRIKE],I mean Hubert,and round up all these dear nsds,and corral them into The Cauldron of Doom.

Never a good idea to let TCOD get hungry. :eek::eek:

I'm already declaring for today.I hope it doesn't backfire on me,but I've not had an nsd since Sunday.

Calamity, folks! The Oktoberfest entertainment is under threat! The guest band, Die Guten Alten Jungen, has been arrested again for their salacious drag queen cabaret act - thank goodness we got those stilettos away from Hubert or he would be in handcuffs now. Or hoofcuffs.

So, the NSD gang need to sort out a band for the rest of the month. So, which of you are good at playing accordions, brass instruments, keyboards, drums? Trombones, Sousaphones, Euphoniums all welcome.......Igor! Rustle up a vat of sauerkraut, the wind section needs all the help it can get!

Learning2Budget

Hmmmm rethinking my nsd. I don't count direct debits, so i suppose my food shop day, as long as i don't buy random other things that same day is already budgetted for? So on this way of thinking i should have less spendy days.....i tend to think food shop, loss of nsd so I'll buy other stuff that day. So tuesday now becomes a nsd. Nsd 5 and 5 in a row. This may improve my overall budgetting. Same with fuel that is already budgetted for. Aiming not to spend anything today. Had to buy new wellies yesterday so lost my run. But today should be nsd 6. My purse will not be leaving the house when i do! Hope the weather is kind where you are. L2B.x

It's okay - crisis averted (or not as the case may be ), apparently they have NOT been arrested, but a group of Berlin Police Officers saw them perform and thought they would be great for the mid Month Berlin Police Cabaret :eek::eek:, they will be returned the week before Halloween - so no problem there

Ach,verdammt!I was looking forward to playing the drums.I can't actually play the drums,but I've always wanted to learn. :rotfl::rotfl:
