Estate agents just called and the idea of selling just seems awfully real :eek:

We are both shattered now so trying to take it easy and prepare ourselves for an all day session on Friday for chemo.

Well the chimney has been swept and the smoke test done, plus he sorted the squeaky handle with a drop of 3 in 1 oil so all is ready for the winter he told me that if he will do the chimney sweep and the boiler check for £100 all in next year so that will save a few squid .

We are going to get some more coal at the weekend just to make sure that we have plenty in, just in case it is a harsh one this year, the farm that we get our coal from is up a winding road that is quite steep so we want to make sure we have enough before the weather turns bad. Plus a lot of weather forecasts are for a colder than normal winter.

That's a good idea, i'll think about that idea a bit more. It might work, it might not but its worth exploring. Thanks for the suggestion.

She's ok with three word sentences but any more than that, she's dreadful. The worst of it is she knows she doesn't make sense as occasionally she's take a break from her babbling, sigh and say 'I don't know'. Glad they have caught her infection early because she really goes downhill when she's ill.

Lamewolf thinking of Mr Lamewolf and of course yourself. I hope Mr Lamewolfs' recovery is swift.

Evening everyone

A late posting from me. Got 2 loads washing dry this afternoon. Kitchen cleaned and dinner made, got a request for chilli again. Managed to completely knock the control button off the dishwasher so it's now not working. Need to get it repaired quickly as I can't abide washing dishes.
Dh was really offhand when I told him, it was a complete accident and I told him his reaction was out of order.

Really need to get my college homework done but keep putting it off.

Judi - hope your mums antibiotics help. Sorry I meant to post the other day re your Ds. My db had the same treatment and he has not had a drink for 9 years.

My SF is coping ok with his treatment, just seems extremely tired.

Judi, would photos of people, things & places help your mum to communicate, on a laminated card she could point to?
I also thought of a sort of memory book with photos of family members, fabrics or pictures such as the seaside, pets, of your family home or where she lived as a child - would that comfort her when she gets upset?
