Just to pick up on this National Hunter thing; I wonder, do the CC companies and banks consider it to be a credit reference agency? I don't recall ever giving permission on a CC application (of which I've done many) for my personal data to be transferred to National Hunter. Maybe it's there but I've never seen it.
Its semantics really.
CRAs are generally considered to store credit history.
