BlueBuild Energy

Just had a call from Blue Build Energy about installing a Photovoltaic Solar Panel system on the roof. Anybody had any experience of them? They are based in Dundonald.
Thank you

read through this. Please note my comment about re-mortgaging or selling. It IS causing issues here in Northern Ireland. If they are trying to push the "Free" systems, please remember "Nothing in life is Free"

I'm all for solar Systems, it's just these companies who try to sell you stuff and tie you into contracts without giving you ALL of the details.....

First thank you for your concern, however they aren't trying to rent the roof they want to sell me a system. I don't know much about them and I was wondering had anyone used them for installation. And did they do a good job?
  • I have heard them advertise quite a bit on the local radio recently so they are obviously doing a big sales drive. Possibly a new company to the market here..... can't comment more than that..... Maybe see if they can give you references.... a house they've done you could go have a look at

I have no connection with this company and haven't used them but am aware that they have a good reputation and are very long established. Might be worth talking to them if considering purchasing a system http://www.willis-heating.com/offer.html

I would concur but I have experience of them from a work perspective and it's very positive..... However I think (but could be wrong) on the solar side of things, they only do the solar water heating systems not the electrical systems....

    You may well be correct.

I don't think they would be the cheapest but I do know they use the best stuff and do a very professional job...... I believe their main business is on larger projects like office blocks, hospitals, business premises but know they do houses too if asked...
