2X pcn in private car park

Hi,
I work for a company who pays directly out of my wages to a private car park. There is a ticket displayed in my window to prove this, though they have failed to send me a replacement the arrangement has not been cancelled yet they don't seem to have any common sense to check their computer systems to see I have paid in full each month because I have one of the special ticket things in my window.

Yesterday and today they put a PCN on my window saying I owe them £50 or £25 if paid within a certain amount of time. (£50 is the payment I pay for one month, not a day, and is already paid).

What can I do about this? It seems to be labelled with the local Council as the one who issued the ticket but I am sure it is a private car park company but either way it is an administrative error on their part and I do not intend to pay these invoices.

You can tell if it's a Council one - if it's a PENALTY charge rather than a PARKING charge. Which is it?
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Penalty charge notice. I'm guessing popla isn't the place to go with this one?

PePiPoo will be your best bet for council tickets. Here's your link:

Have a read through some of the other threads there before you post your own to get the hang of what information they need from you in your opening post - but as a minimum you will need photos/scans of all correspondence you've received from the council (both sides, if appropriate).

PePiPoo has an excellent success record in dealing with council tickets.

Pepipoo will help you with all of them. Don't collect more - you do know these are statutory and can end up with bailiffs if you don't appeal each one fully. You cannot sit back and let these accumulate.

It just says parking administration on the envelope with it.

My employer definitely pays these guys monthly and until they send me a replacement parking pass for my window they will keep accumulating and I can't keep appealing them all until I get it (if I even get one!?).

Why don't these guys just check their computer instead of blindly issuing tickets?
  • Is there an address to post a cheque to.
    Can we have it please.

    I smell a rat.
Might be wrong but give us as much info as possible from the ticket, any name of any company ? it must say something on it ?

The "ticket" / reciept thing says Oldham council on it. I was sure this is a private car park though.

Seems strange that your employer pays some guys monthly for a permit, when you have clearly got a penalty charge with Oldham Council on it. Does it have the law at the top (Traffic Management Act 2004?).
