Warren Buffet has supposedly sold 245m Tesco shares , where has he sold them and who did he sell to ?

They'll be placed. When a Middle East investor sold out a 24% in Sainsburys some years ago. They used 186 broking houses to place the shares so as not to cause disruption in the market.

Don't you think everything for Xmas is already in place ? It is only a few weeks away afterall .

Yes but will the customers be there in sufficient numbers and spending??
Feudal Britain needs land reform. 70% of the land is "owned" by 1 % of the population and at least 50% is unregistered (inherited by landed gentry). Thats why your slave box costs so much..

I think the point at which Tesco could become investable has been pushed back further by the recent announcements of another three suspended directors.

Three is not many for a company the size of Tesco, and the real work will still be done by people beneath them.. How many of them will be after promotion to their jobs?

Another three - eight total. Sure, there's people doing those jobs now, but I don't think temporarily losing the UK chief, the UK finance, the commercial director, the food commercial director, the head of sourcing, director of beers/wines/spirits, director of impulse purchases, and director of convenience is a small matter - even if the most ablest people (indeed angling for the jobs) step up.

Then again, Tesco (just about) survived without a finance director for five months, so who knows. :D

Are we going to get closure on this issue next Thursday? The fact they suspended these three in the past few days might suggest it's not going to be cleared up come next week.
This is everybody's fault but mine.
