Thanks Steve, I was gonna do £1,but, can change it.
Got San 123 A/cs set up.
No problem. Remember that you can now use both Tesco accounts to satisfy all future direct debit requirements Saves you searching around for things to pay by direct debit!

I have the Lloyds Club account and thanks to one of my direct debit
Beneficiaries they are not taking my usual dd this month due to their system being upgraded and will now take it on the 3 October.

So only one will not be recorded for September. I will give Lloyds a ring early next month and see whether they may be flexible and still pay me the interest. I can only ask and they can either say yes or no.

they have said my first is 2nd october, so that must be the reason
like you I will forego a bit of interest
It's difficult to get everything to tie in precisely They do state 10 days to set up.?
easy to incur a charge as I did with Santander 123 DD's set up..
They always deduct before they pay in, monies, and cause charges to occur.£10, which they waived.
    That's always been the case.

Mable do you have a Paypal account linked to your Club Lloyds account?

If so you could use that to 'pull' money by DD for September. If not, then you're probably too late to get one set up in time:(

Very good suggestion. However the Paypal is linked to my other Lloyds account.

You can probably change that pretty rapidly, or add it as a secondary account to pull funds from.

    UPDATE.

Once I explained the situation to one of the dd. beneficiaries which caused the problem they have agreed to give me compensation for the inconvenience this has caused. Therefore in my case is 3 times the amount of interest for the September period.

I find just being nice gets you a lot further.

Hi,Digressing from my OP, Just to prove a point.I set 2 TSB classic plus accounts, one online 2 weeks ago, second via phone Monday (35 Minutes hard sell). No probs
,Topped up both with £2k. BUT, activation code for first hadn't come by monday, they said they would send another,( where did first one go.?) plus one for second account.10 more days;;if they arrive??
Until they arrive, I cannot set up inter SO's for £500, so, cannot received interest, on both A.cs.£4k
it aint plain sailing;;These activation codes are a ploy, and I should have known better than to put money in before I got them.
    Waiting game at my expense.

Can you ring them / go into Branch and ask them to set up the SOs for you?
