I sniped- seller making excuses- now re advertising item

I'm waiting to see what ebay say today.

If he is abroad why is he listing items for sale- if he can sell and post out he can sort your item out as well.

Ask again for a refund, if he declines open a case.

You laugh at me,but in reality ebay don't give a toss...nor do i. We all make our own rules on ebay. Ultimately the joke is on you as you never got the item. Perhaps if you had put a marker bid in and played the game straight you might have won.

Im curious as to how the game as you put it wasnt played straight?
A bids a bid be it 2 days, 2 hours or 2 seconds from auction end.

I'm not sure why the OP is making a big thing of 'sniping' - it's mentioned in the title of the thread and in the thread itself.

It's just a bid, like any other bid.

The OP won the auction, and should get the item - the timing of the bid is a bit of a non issue really

I'd have opened a case by now, regardless of any games the seller may or may not be playing
