  • Have they put any "witness" statements in the evidence pack.
If they have, apply for an order to have these witnesses brought to court.

    They will **** themselves.

The court date is 24th Oct so everything to be submitted 2 week prior and it is Bradford Crown Court.
I sincerely hope it isn't Bradford Crown Court, as that would mean you are being charged with a criminal offence.

I suspect you mean Bradford County Court.

You have to research and get your terminology spot on, otherwise you'll join the long list of clueless defendants who lost in court without having the slightest idea about what went on.

I have been providing assistance, including Lay Representation at Court hearings (current score: won 57, lost 14), to defendants in parking cases for over 5 years. I have an LLB (Hons) degree, and have a Graduate Diploma in Civil Litigation from CILEx. However, any advice given on these forums by me is NOT formal legal advice, and I accept no liability for its accuracy.

    It's a combined court isn't it?

In the sense that the Crown Court and County Court are in the same building, yes.

But they are two very different animals.

If you search this forum for Fistral, Watergate Bay or Tower Road (or whichever was your car park) you will find threads with pics. If it was Fistral beach car park then 'Ivor PE Cheque' is your man in terms of posters to ask, although I also have pics of that site as I went there at Easter. If it was Tower Road, read liseylou's thread as she won on 11th September in court and the Judge found the signage wording was wanting and that driving around looking for a space wasn't 'parking'.

'Evidence pack' is POPLA not court. Both you and PE need to file the documents upon which you will be relying, and in your case your full defence and a witness statement, by the filing date. But also ask for a stay for Beavis.

I think you need to re-read the links in post #5 of the Newbies thread as it gives you people's court experience, shows you cases won, and gives you a summary of what happens when (written by bargepole).

Surf Boy thank you so so much! Sorry for the late reply my internet has been playing up. Its the car park down from the atlantic hotel.... same side of the road but down from it just before the path narrows towards the pub (name escapes me) Its not the larger carpark opposite the hotel. Its the one just to the left of the road you come out on if you loop round up past atlantic past the huer's hut. Hope ive explained it all correctly! my email ( if allowed to send direct) is jennymush@yahoo.co.uk thank you x

It's not the one by the Church is it? There have been lots of threads about all these Newquay car parks.
