I'm being inconsistent on wines and fizzes. Kir Royale Sparkling Sweet 75cl now £1.69 in M (I think that's a price increase from previous 3 for £5?). Bucks Fizz Raspberry & Elderflower Fizz 75cl and Bucks Fizz Apple, Pear & Elderflower Fizz 75cl on 2 for £5.00 (so £2.50 each when buying 2) - again were these also not part of 3 for £5? In other words, price increase from £1.666666... individual to £2.50 individual (when taking up the mbuy of the time)? Maybe they are slightly different ones than before?
Due to the apparent price increases, neither reaching the list (even though £1.69/ £2.50). Yet I have lots of other 75cl wines on the list that are £3.49 and even £3.99:eek:!
Really I ought to delete the whole lot:eek::rotfl:. The wines were only put onto the list (at least the 'buy in M' side of the list) when M had a 25% off 6 bottles offer - probably two months ago now. Therefore, they are all now way too expensive. I ought not to listen to the FCs and others on here who don't accept cheaper wines but think that only the big brands will do!:wall::rotfl:
I think wines cost the supermarkets £1 a bottle to make. We are probably really paying a mark-up here. For now, I'll keep all the ones I have on - I have thought, in a couple of previous weeks, whether they should be deleted - with no 25% off in M, really they are quite expensive (and that offer, even when on, is not an offer that would have compared from A as it is a 'category-wide' promotion and thus excluded under the APG).
Also I have, only going onto this price today and therefore not available for at least another day on the APG, if not longer, McVities Original Baked Cheddars (7) at 90p. These will not be going onto the list - though I am mentioning them here. They are instead a 'keep in view' item as A is currently apparently unfavourable £1 straight.
Also coming out of the M list checks - and this one includes Northern Ireland - are the packs of 16 Paracetamol Caplets or Tablets. They are going onto Tvs A as A is now back down in price to 19p. May need to wait another day though, if A has only gone onto that today and T PP not yet updated. M 23p on the Tablets:eek::eek: and 22p on the Caplets:eek:. Or presumably (not Northern Ireland), M vs A!!:rotfl: If spending £15:rotfl::eek:.0 -
