It's a full time job living with Mr TS.
:rotfl:
I count myself very lucky, I am in a privileged position not to have to work. But then I am not materialistic so was happy with a portable tv for over 20 years, no smart phone etc and was happy not to have holidays abroad etc.
I had planned to return to work when the girls were old enough but then having elderly parents put paid to that. When the house is organised I will get off my bottom and look for paid employment, you can only twiddle thumbs and fingers for so long.
I know this may sound silly but have been jealous of you all getting your M&S cards for switching as David. so kindly pointed out this morning I do not have a job so I was worried about applying as I don't really have an income as such and no credit card in my name I use Mr TS's.
Well thought I would phone and see what they thought my chances are of being credit scored ok. Don't know why I didn't think about it as when I explained situation to lady and that my balance is healthy/no mortgage she said she assumed I had no outgoings. And actually she is right Mr TS does pay those regular bills with his wages.
So I can put zero in my outgoings. :T She could not see a problem at all. I think I deserve numpty of the year award, could have done it ages ago.
 guess my joke was not funny, here have one of these instead. I know how everyone likes them

Nope!

Morning all, DH was lovely last night, he came home and said he'd bought me a present for getting my new job. He's bought me an iPhone with a data plan so I can keep up with you lot and check for deals on my breaks, so I won't be missing out much after all! He's so thoughtful :happyhear
Happy glitching Friday to one and all! And fingers crossed I can persuade my boss to let me take my last two days of work as holiday, as I'm so bored doing nothing and need to get diy-ing before my parents come a-visiting in 2 weeks!
