Thanks for your support FC and TS.
Dad arrived home this afternoon. Going up Saturday and sister and I are giving things a week to settle down. Dad was shocked that he couldn't manage the stairs and oxygen only downstairs so pleased he allowed a bed to be put in best lounge. He ate a good tea as sister treated him to a nice bit of fillet steak.
Contingency plan already in place so I am feeling far better.
Will install dad cam Saturday and we also have to mount key box as not really safe left on floor by door.

Arranged to see ds2 between visits as plans have been approved for the shop he is converting into a chalet bungalow so will be an exciting diversion. As bumf is taking me he is looking forward to seeing the garden of building site as has river frontage and he loves gardening.

My samsung tablet is dead and will not charge or turn on. Even tried charging in car as suggested. Under warranty and mum has lent me her iPad while I get it fixed. Do you think there is a cat in hells chance mr t would do a faulty exchange as 20 months old:eek::eek:

Managed a few Coventry Garden soup vouchers today which is great
as dad loves these. Also make good fillers.

2 days behind so going to relax and catch up.

Hope FC is slowly getting her strength back and apologies if I have missed any significant events.

Come on BBC News! Been waiting for you to join BBC ONE - what does this say?

    On Now
    00:20 - 02:00
    Now WatchingThis Week

    09/10/2014

Still not done so:(, and - not even got today's date right:(:(.

    Getting a little fed up...at last! Joined!:T At twenty-seven minutes (and 54 seconds:rotfl:) past 12.

EDIT: I'd be alright - I wouldn't mind at all - join at whatever time you want. But when it says 00:20...:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:. (I even make allowances of 2 or 3 minutes either side. But seven!:eek::rotfl::D.) I actually prefer Martine Croxall on:eek:, so not actually 'wanting' the Channel to join BBC ONE, but if it is advertised that it will...

Well done VT. It's not always glamorous to have a bed in the front room but sometimes it's the only thing that works and you have to make the best of it. You are doing brilliantly

:T:T to your DS. How exciting :D

To those that asked by PM about my hubby's job, that I've not replied to :o:o He has a job working 12 hours a week for a charity that has supported him ALOT!! His wages are being paid for, for a year by the poppy fund. So when /if you buy a poppy this year be absolutely assured that your money does go to good causes.

If anyone had told me my OH would be working and earning money and making a difference this time last year.....Id have been very doubtful. He isn't earning a fortune but to be funded to be working again has meant so much more to us than I have words to describe

Glad you eventually got home bubbs, sounded like a long day!

I proudly announced to dh last night that I'd lost enough weight in my fingers to start wearing my engagement ring again - unfortunately this morning my fingers have swollen up and while I got it on, I very much doubt I'll be able to get it off again :rotfl:
