    From mumsnet http://www.mumsnet.com/Talk/good_housekeeping/a762664-Why-is-the-washing-machine-not-using-the-fabric-conditioner
    Question
Why is the washing machine not using the fabric conditioner.. the drawer is still full after the wash??
Have cleaned out the drawer which was a bit gunky, but it is still not working. have a warranty for the machine so can call someone out, but not keen on staying in all day waiting for the repair man
    any ideas??

    Response from helpful mumsnetter
I had this problem with my machine - the engineer told me to take the drawer out, spray the upper part where the water comes out with bleach spray, and leave for 1/2 hour and then run an empty wash on the hottest temperature. It worked and I have to do this twice a year.

    Result
sorry , forgot to report back

    IT WORKS!

conditioner being sucked up now.. all is well in washing machine land tonight

    hth

    Thankyou will try it.

    Panasonic SD 2500 WXC Breadmaker (refurb) £59.99 @ ebay / panasonic_outlet
    http://www.hotukdeals.com/deals/panasonic-sd-2500-wxc-breadmaker-refurb-59-99-ebay-panasonic_outlet-2017757

Ooh I'd LOVE one of these!!

No idea if it's a good one though, or if it's worth getting a refurb instead of a similarly-priced alternative, or if I should just bite the bullet and get a brand-spanking new one.

I think I need advice from our Jelly!

Hope everyone is having a lovely day. Glad to hear you've survived the rant FC, at least you did the right thing.

I'm getting really bored of teaching someone else how to do my job, I'm so ready to leave now. I'll be busy baking tonight and tomorrow though as I've been told I have to bring my cakes and mince pies in before I go!

Yeah, I've seen loads of people say good things before now, but it's still a lot of money for a refurb.

But then again, I suppose a second-hand one might be the same price, and at least a refurb has been done up and has a guarantee.

Hmm... might have to email hubby with a small reminder that Christmas is only 2 and a bit months away :D
  • can i ask what are people doing with the £1 Dr Oetker coupons?

I have been getting 4 at a time and using 4x £1.50 coupons so getting them free but for every 4 i get i end up with another 4x £1 coupons and now seem to have a stash of them.
It`s nice to be important, but its more important to be nice.

I guess there will be a time when the codes are not on the boxes anymore...its starting to happen a bit with new stock not showing the promotion...
I'm keeping the £1 coupons so that if we cant find the flavours we like in promotional packs at least it works out as cheap pizza...
