Maybe doesn't look a particularly bad shop - but more overpayment with little, if any at all, recompense.
Expensive crisps - I've decided a 'reasonable' price on 6 pack of crisps now is 50p (which we 'never' see).
Oatie Crumbles expensive too, since Sains Oat Biscuits have been down to 50p in the past. I notice nonetheless the ones here are Milk Choc. ones - but, even so, must be a cheaper way of owning Milk Choc biscuits.
:eek:The Ye Olde Hot Dogs very expensive. Just 350g, not even 400g other ones that go down to 50p(:rotfl: 50p, when they pay £1.79!).
They don't appear to have had any MOC off on their shop - just paid the lot in cash:eek:, despite getting the Dr Oetker pizza:rotfl::rotfl:.
CBY Frosted Flakes a bit expensive (are they 3 for £3?).
However, for those who assume own brand cereal is always cheaper, Kellogg's Frosties 500g are slightly cheaper (vs T) at the moment. 500g for £1.14 in T, therefore T's price for Kellogg's is cheaper than A own brand price! Even though the £1.14 is a little bit more than what I would pay in the past. Used to be £1.00 (and therefore 90p net with APG) for 500g cereals. But, still, £1.14 less 10% is about £1.03, so not greatly bad.
The 500g Kellogg's Frosties are £2.28 in A! It therefore appears that the 750g Frosties, which are cheaper in their own right, at £2 are better! However, remember, the more expensive one works out cheaper.
Kellogg's Frosties 500g £2.28
Kellogg's Frosties 750g £2.00
Therefore, obvious to buy the 500g at £2.28, as T is £1.14 and therefore 10% cheaper (in the right comparison with everything else bought not 10% cheaper than T and T preferably at the best price of all competitors) gets you to about £1.03 for 500g. Meaning that, for about 6p more, you could have had 250g more cereal!
Kellogg's Frosties 500g x2 therefore £2.06
Kellogg's Frosties 750g at £2 therefore rip-off and loses out on the comp vs everywhere except apparently M but even there the 20p APG doesn't account for the cheaper price (vs T) on the 500g.
Interesting pricing of £2.00 and any 3 for £6.00 on msm for A on the Kellogg's Frosties 750g. However, it doesn't appear to gain anything (wish it had been any 3 for £7.00 or something like that:rotfl:). Have a look at what other items are available in that mix and match though and whether there is any strangeness that helps us on individual prices.
So, people get the wrong one (750g at £2, as that looks cheaper than the 500g at £2.28) and are then, in theory, told that their shopping (750g) was 10% cheaper than T!

I'm currently going through the glasses. You need to spend £20 plus delivery. So there's a minimum spend of £15:o
