This is a positive result, in spite of them trying their best to offset the difference on the Stella and their attempt, I would hope against their better judgement but I suspect my hope is a fornlorn one again, to wipe out any APG by the Schwartz and the non-podded peas. Very expensive small packs:eek:. Why do people pay £1, or presumably think £1 is a good price, for such a little quantity?:think:

Only thanks to the Stella lingering on in the APG, paid an unthinkable £9, comparing against a very very expensive £7.50 - my price guide for that amount would be £5.

On the Coca Cola 30 pack, A is the benchmark as that is £9 in Sains. Not that I would compare against such an expensive £7 price:eek:.

I also don't understand the concept behind "Extra Special" - or, in my translation, Extra allegedly-Special. Now imagine if it were called that...:rotfl: It is, in my view, a device created by supermarkets in order to foster an impression (and with the most part of the population, impressions matter far more than anything else - it doesn't matter what something actually is, the impression or perception or what it is is more important, if not the decisive factor) that it is worth paying more for, because of its supposedly "Special" nature. Most people are susceptible to manipulation and persuasion through their perceptions or, especially, touching at their emotions. Supermarkets know exactly how to do this and how to achieve it, through advertising, promotion, positioning, labelling and everything else. Anyway, less of another arcane discussion or lecture from myself:rotfl:...I'll let you see the comp. (fwiw!):

Well - £2 for 2Kg of potatoes - could have been much worse. I was expecting only 1.5Kg or something like that.
