This is a totally random question.

My DD fell last week and broke her leg/ankle and has had it pinned and is in a temporary cast. The surgeon said the "screws" would be removed, does that mean the pins or would there be screws as well? Are pins and screws the same thing? I hope they are removed as her bones would be more likely to grow equally without metal but I always thought pins stayed in. We are back at the hosp on Tuesday to get new cast so will find out then but has been playing on my mind. I was in too much shock when it all happened to ask any sort of coherent questions, other than how long how surgery would be.

    Morning

Just noticed yesterday that it's been about a year since I found the elite thread :T it was from this glitch and it was Jelly B who linked the thread (thanks Jelly) https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/4775419

Took me ages to work out what you were all wittering on about - I thought 'if it's cheaper elsewhere, then why not just buy it there' - glad I stuck with it though, it's been really fun getting lots of bargains, having somewhere to share the excitement and a lot of laughs too. You've really opened my eyes. Long live the elite :A

Happy anniversary, my first anniversary with the the elite was last month. I have learned a lot and enjoy the challenge of matching AvT etc

Got a list using CS, MOC's, a pp anad cond spend :j

Also hoping that the pork mine will still work today Plus have Dr vouchers and APG's :j

Thanks to all those that post

We'll done the pair of you for sticking around:rotfl:

It does take time to get into this way of shopping but you will both be well rewarded.
I've been doing it a few years now and once you have a decent stash of glitchy stuff built up, your weekly shop becomes very cheap. Most of the personal care stuff eg shampoos ,shower gels etc we usually get free or for pennies so it's worth getting these when they glitch. Take advantage of coupon deals to stock up on store cupboard favourites and internet glitches for gifts.
My freezer is always full and I buy whoopsies with wombles for through the week food.

As a result we live on very little. It works as there's only the two of us at home but I always have plenty left over for DD and DS.

Hope you both stay for many more years:)

    Hiya Elite

I can only agree 100% with fairclaire about having the wonderful Elite to share things with when going through all of this. It was my lifeline when Alan was ill and Mam too, bless you all

What does the new Tesco mag look like please, not seen it about yet, so didn't know about the Life moc

 Hello my lovely Nannylala, I saw about your precious arch being dismantled :( You still have those memories, losing the arch doesn't take them away

Lovely to see logie and spiralingdown posting again. I haven't been on here for ages and ages, but still keeping very busy with my Romanian dogs fundraising and protests, off to Brussels in December to protest in front of EU parliament building

    Love to all x

Have just had a big catchup and saw your post 3dogs:A and so happy to see you posting again. I acknowledged you being about yesterday morning and was hoping we might see you again as I often wondered how you were doing. Your Alan:A would be so proud of how you are coping.Take care Nannylala x
