Zippy I tried Waties for early reductions this morning but they had only taken about 50p off each item, there was absolutely loads of RTC stuff with multibuys today aswell.
Wondering if it might be worth popping back later. I wonder what time they might get their guns out again.
in my store, again today. about 8.30am
the reduced on the shelves was only a small amount. but the rtc cabinet had ones for about 1/2 price. mostly items 3 for £10 reduced to £2.00 ish. (original £4 ish) so 3 items for £4
im totally don't bother with the scrum in Tesco no more.
ps yes pop back as im sure all stores do whats right for them as opposed to all at the same time. I find flowers are best about 4-6pm0 -
Good morning, just, well done snap great amount for a deserving cause, sorry been lurking, hope FC is feeling better and tweets hope poppy is not limping when you get home if she needs you to look at her paw , good luck,:)The person who never makes a mistake never learns anything.0

Spend will be £3 as they are on 3 for £3 and apg if my maths is right should be for £2.30 as Radox compares at T as £1.90 each v 75p each. You need 2 handwashes and a brush, make sure you get the ones that are comparing at 75p with T on msm. HTH
**Correct my maths if wrong elite**
I got my third mse star :jyou just forgot the '10% cheaper than Ts' bit, so APG will be £2.30 plus 10% of £1.50 (cost of 2 h/w in T's) = £2.45.

I couldn't see an RTC cabinet wonder if I missed it.
Going to leave early to pick up DD3 and see if any further reductions. The 3 for £10 was still over £3 an item, the ready meals in the 3 for £6 were £2.49 so I still thought a bit pricey.
But agree Ts you need training for the scrums in ours now. I have actually started buying at around 50/60% off in there than wait to be pushed around. :mad:0 -
Talking about whoopsies there is an old man that goes to ours and openly admits working for a hotel and buying it for his boss. No one else gets a look in he grabs every single loaf, bagels, etc for the hotel.
I stood next to him one night after he had already grabbed all of the first round which no one else saw for the light of day. Course I will chat to anyone and someone had told me he feeds the ducks but I didn't think this sounded quite true. He told me there was more coming out when he saw me eyeing up his trolley and I said I only wanted one white loaf, he must have had about 20.
Long story short the second round was all wholemeal which he grabbed as well and do you know he never even offered me one of his white ones. I'm sorry but I think that is just mean.0 -
Thanks JJ, How do you make your porridge please? is it just oats and oil? TIA
Small amount of oats (tablespoon or so),
handful of lidl's nut/seed mix (99p a bag),
teaspoon of ground ginger (probably too strong for a first timer so reduce the amount til your taste buds adjust!),
Large handful of chopped dates (89p for a MASSIVE bag of pitted dates at home bargains)
1/4-1/3 of a block of creamed coconut,
Boiled distilled water to bring to the correct consistency.
The above is very much adjustable to preferred taste.
This is just the way I make it every morning.
