Talking about whoopsies there is an old man that goes to ours and openly admits working for a hotel and buying it for his boss. No one else gets a look in he grabs every single loaf, bagels, etc for the hotel.

I stood next to him one night after he had already grabbed all of the first round which no one else saw for the light of day. Course I will chat to anyone and someone had told me he feeds the ducks but I didn't think this sounded quite true. He told me there was more coming out when he saw me eyeing up his trolley and I said I only wanted one white loaf, he must have had about 20.

Long story short the second round was all wholemeal which he grabbed as well and do you know he never even offered me one of his white ones. I'm sorry but I think that is just mean. :(
I would complain in store. on the meat/meal reductions now in my Tesco. you have to queue and are rationed. I still don't bother any more though.
I might put a bit more effort in if my freezer was empty though.

    That's a bit naughty:(
Wonder if the hotel guests get "whoopsied" breakfast the next morning:eek:

I've only ever managed to get really good reductions in my store on two occasions. One was Easter Saturday a couple of years ago and the other was New Years Eve last year ...the lady in front of me was Picking up all the beef mince as soon as the ticket man put it down... It was for her dog!!! I nearly asked if I could have one for my monkeys:rotfl: but was happy with my little basket full of chicken and pork... I remembered to buy in twos and threes for the extra multibuy discount too:j

The only reason I remember is that mr monkey dropped me off and was waiting in the car when I overheard one of the supervisors tell the young lad to go and get all the meat reduction crates from the chiller... 1/2 an hour a four bags later I emerged from the shop:rotfl:
    Having spent very little :)

    Morning Nannylala :hello:

I have only blown my nose once since I got up :j:j:j

But wasn't going to mention this after all the other peeps it seems insignificant if that correct word.

Poppy came in from front garden last night limping :(
Gardener been Monday and cut privets so I am wondering if she got a splinter in her paw :(

Trouble is Poppy wont let you touch her paws /legs :(
Last night she slept on the floor because she couldn't jump on the bed and when I went near her she thought I was going to touch her paw when I was going to lift her onto the bed.

She got up and down stairs.

This morning she stayed in her bed.

We have been a short walk and she did put her paw down so I am hoping when I come home she's tried to clean her paw and made it better.

Good morning Elite :) Bright and sunny but cold in Manchester today. Panicking a bit about my CC later, I thought I could amend it up until 2 hours before collecting but the option has gone now and I only have 8 items in the trolley which consists of:

    Udis toasties
    dove shower
    another dove shower
    pork mince
    A flump
    A refresher bar
    Bananas
    Doughnuts

All items compare v T on msm but I normally go over on my items just in case. Do the expert elite shoppers think it will be ok for comparison?

    My ds2s birthday today :D

    Hi TS,

Yes I use to tell my hubby about the bread man :rotfl:

I must say if i was staying at a hotel I would not want old bread:eek:

However I now talk to the bread man while waiting for the bargains as he is generally around and waiting for the bread and he is always kind and helpful with offering me some bread if I have missed it and only last week gave me strawberry's which I had missed as waiting for other bargains.

I think what gets me is that Mr T takes so so long now to reduce its items :(

My monkeys have been asking for chips for weeks now... Only today have I bought them as I couldn't get any in the freezer:)

I've made them from potatoes in the oven but they prefer frozen ones:cool:
