Cottage pie is a gd idea, i was thinking stew as well.
Think i might lose some weight with this brace.

Only if it's really soft, you don't want to be chewing. I'd check thoroughly with a brace brush afterwards though, bits of stewed meat are a nightmare for 'hanging around' in the wires! :eek:
Hope you feel better about it soon. At least you know lots of people understand what you're going through, so many people have had braces at some point during their life.0 -

After I had some pretty extensive and drastic dental work done, I found that I could only eat soft for about a week...for breakfast I had one weetabix, and for other meals I based it around things like mashed potato, fishcakes, beans etc. I cant have done that badly, I lost 6½ lbs that first week!
It will get better and easier.
