With no trigger, it's 22.5p each (10% off competitor's 25p) however many you buy (as long as all comparable and no more than 10 of the same type etc.). That '.5p' may take you up or down by a penny depending on the actual comparable bill total for the competitor on your total shop. (I'm assuming you get at least eight appearing items and thus don't lose all the APG by failing to qualify.)

    With the trigger, it's ...classic Savvy so stand by!:D - pay any 5 for £2 (happens to be 40p each) but APG then 45p x4 vs 25p x4. Is £1.80 vs £1.00 and 10% off is £1.80 vs 90p is 90p back. £2.00 - 90p = £1.10 for the five you bought. Therefore £1.10/5 = 22p.

So, close, seems to be a 'saving' of a half-penny per pot:rotfl::rotfl:. And even that could have been gained for a single purchase of just a single pot on an APG shop if the actual comparable total for the competitor had meant your APG had rounded up by nearly a penny anyway (if 10% of competitor total bill resulted in having a fraction of a penny). Buying five times as much...

Per 120g, the 115g pots work out at 22.9565217...p (with the trigger), 23.47826...p (without the trigger) - though this is only approximate - actual price you pay (for example across five) depends on what exact mix of 115g and 125g you get. And per 120g, the 125g at trigger price are equivalent to being 21.12p and, without trigger, 21.6p. Adjustments for weight there, prices for the 115g and for the 125g as if they were 120g.

Either way, even with trigger, work out more expensive per g. than one of M's RTC 120g at 20p (details of the specific two flavours on the RTC - see M list 'buy in M' section - okay, they're fruit pots not jelly pots, but we remember weren't we getting 1Kg of Pear fruit pot in A at 50p a year ago? I don't see five pots at total cost of £1.10:eek: even after 'trigger' adding up to anything like that 1kg amount!:rotfl:)

If my calculations are wrong, someone I am sure will be able to check me and correct me!:T

Thanks tm on the grey goose. Would make a few people very happy at xmas a a real treat purchase.

Just had call from my sister, she had to call gp out as dad was coughing up blood.
He is now in a cubicle at a &e waiting for a transfusion. Means he will miss his appointment at Addenbrookes tomorrow. Waiting to find out more in morning before deciding whether I am going straight back up there.
I noticed he coughed a couple of times yesterday but nothing out of the ordinary. A couple of years ago he had a tb scare so always coughs into a hanky now.
My sister has been dismissed (dad prefers to be alone) but she will be straight up there tomorrow to find out if he is to be discharged or not.

I seem to recall some while back that if you didn't click the Blue "GET A VOUCHER" on the APG site, but came back say 2 weeks later to click it, the 28 day voucher period starts from that date? Am I correct?

I had a voucher with expiry date that was over two months after the shopping date, as I forgot to claim it and did so later. 28 days runs from (and including?) the date you get the voucher. Fortunately I had already checked the receipt and got the APG result, so it was locked in the system, allowing me to return more than 28 days after the shop and then get the voucher. Had I not looked at the APG result earlier, it would have been sorry transaction was over 28 days old. So yes, short answer is, yes you are correct.

I am in need of a coke glitch......for a change. Oh how I long for those days of a stockpile in the garage :( I had so much, I feared it would go out of date. I have bottles but cans are desperate.

I got the small 500ml bottles for 18p each most of last week. I can still get the full fat coke ones at that price.

cc/hd only and depends if your store has them rtc at £2 for 4 pack

Congratulations on coming home but make sure you do absolutely nothing.
I remember you having pleurisy a couple of years ago, I hope it hasn't left you with a weakness.
I presume your ohs friend has returned to work but everyone will cope fine with you in bed or on sofa. It is unlikey you will run out of food too quickly.

Remember if things are not cleaned to your standards then just carry some wipes around with you and you can then just clean the things you need to use. If
a house is not cleaned for a week it really doesn't matter. Good idea getting extra help in.

So pleased ds2 decided he was old enough to make his own breakfast and someone else can take him to school for a few days.

Someone mentioned earlier crash and burn which reminded me of your pleurisy
which came after a very tough 4 months.

    Lots of hugs
    V x

    Im trying :o
I had this conversation with the consultant before I left today. Chances are my 'pleurisy' was just the same pneumonia that I have now.
I said the other night, I had a splenectomy years ago. That has never caused me any real problems. But it seems that it is now and bacterial infections can get out of hand. I've got an appointment to have my immune system 'managed'. No doubt that burning myself out doesn't help though :o

Most upsetting to me is that I do some work for the Poppy Appeal at this time of year, I've done it for years and I really enjoy it. Im going to have to pass on it this year I think :(

I hope things are well with you. I haven't been keeping up Im afraid.

Wasn't it a smart move on stores' part putting jellies and fruit in small pots and then selling it at even 25p each?:rotfl: [And even more smart when they are full price and people buy them at that; I'm talking about the vast majority of the subset of people who buy them at full price and who then do not claim APG.] They are really really popular purchases!:rotfl:

Small pots...aren't they always a waste of money compared to buying just a single huge pot of fruit or jelly juice at £1:eek:, then sharing it out, in several different goes and several different sessions and sittings, over several months?
