I did notice that you'd been absence for a few days - it's not the case that I didn't even notice (as you know, really, nothing escapes my notice:rotfl:) - but am I expected when I come onto the thread - am I expected immediately to ask you how you are? - or even be here at the actual time you make your first return-to-the-thread post - I've been off and on this evening and only just come back in any event:rotfl::rotfl:.
I heard you had pneumonia - and glad to see you've recovered, as far as it appears anyway!:)
[2] I'm 'my usual self' btw at the moment.
Perhaps 'in between Morries price collections':o:rotfl:. I'm having 'a day in' tomorrow, not necessarily here, but hopefully chance to relax, NSD, and at the moment this evening - well, it's getting late so probably time to go to bed again:( - and nothing productive to achieve for the rest of tonight therefore - at the moment I'm not doing much - not having to, watching TV, like most people probably have a little later, probably not watching what they do but no problem with that - all finished, M list done for today, if something strikes, in a relaxing moment, I'll add it on but think that's already all done - so all settled, relaxed.:)
EDIT: :doh:I mustn't forget to ask how are you?:kisses3:

And me, but in a different way (so no-one probably noticed:rotfl:).
Did seem to me that, as competitor is 25p, 10% off 25p and only needing to buy a single one - not having to multi-buy - might well be 'better'. Also doesn't involve falling for the supermarket game of having a 5 for... mbuy and having people buy fives times as much, which was the context I mentioned it in. Also mentioned later how the Cadbury Twinpots at 78p/4 for £3 only 'save' people 3p per item yet have people buying four times as much. Similar situation here.
I'm therefore "recommending" the M own brand pots at 20p. Don't need to mbuy those (though one customer I saw when in M earlier seemed to be nearly clearing out the store's stock:rotfl: - no need to buy that many I thought (and waste money like that - why buy them at all?). Do people really need to buy jelly pots at all? We could live without them - it would be possible to live life without owning or consuming jelly pot contents:rotfl:).
They do make 'good' numbers in the 8 items count. Then again why not buy 10p sweets bags and pay half as much?:rotfl:
The trigger (which doesn't count as an item) doesn't give any APG back, so you lose 40p vs 10% off 25p on that, whilst only adding 20p (4x 5p each pot) to APG back from the comparing appearing pots, it seems to me. Still work out at only 'saving' 2p per pot - and to get that alleged 'saving', people are having to buy five instead of one. So why pay whatever-they-each-work-out-at times four in order to "save" 10p (2p x total 5 bought). I put that word "save" in quotation marks deliberately, as you've spent more money by buying an extra four than 10p (although you also get to keep the four extra jelly pots) - extra payment for buying four offsets:( the 10p "saving", meaning it's not a saving of money at all but an extra payment, of the excess above 10p for the cost of buying a further four, albeit that you do get to own the four extra pots (and their contents:rotfl:).
Is any of this working out at making, even with trigger, those pots at lower than 20p each? Some of them are only 115g:rotfl:. In which case 120g own brand RTC pot in M, just a single one, do not go extravagant and waste money, would be better value. Subject to store-specific etc.0 -

zippydooda wrote: »I cant get my head round it tonight, is it only 2/3p difference on apg if you get a trigger or just 5 comparing
on jellies
4 + trigger see's 45p vs 25p for 4 items and one n/a so 92p APG (with 10%)
5 see's 40p vs 25p for 5 items so 90p APG (also with 10% off)
I've rounded the 10% down from 22.5p to 22p, not sure if that's strictly correct.
2p extra saving (versus T)! :money:

You make only 3pence by buying trigger rather than five for £2
Or have I missed summit ?
thank you, I edited and deleted a few posts as I thought I was just not getting it. now you agree with me  so get the 5 jellies and it saves snapping a tiny piece of carrot of as a filler.0 -
I seem to recall some while back that if you didn't click the Blue "GET A VOUCHER" on the APG site, but came back say 2 weeks later to click it, the 28 day voucher period starts from that date? Am I correct?
