What do you all think of this?

DD had a call from her housemate this morning. She has been at their uni house alone over the weekend.
At 2.30 she was wakened by footsteps running up and down the hall and shouts of "police, police"
She was petrified but got up to find 4 uniformed police in the house. They had picked the locks:eek:

They said it was a crime initiative and they are doing it regularly around the area where a lot of students live.
DD's friend said she was shown proof of identity and was read the riot act for not bolting the door.

Suspicious is my middle name and I'm having to stop myself from calling the police to check this out but don't want to step on anyone's toes.....yet.

Has anyone ever heard of this type of thing happening?

Ladyshopper might know more but I thought Police needed a warrant to enter a property. Just because it is an area where many students live does not give them the right to break in. Especially if house silent and in darkness.
Personally I would lodge a complaint.

Seen you have sorted it now x

I have noticed Costco selling more organic, wholemeal and healthy products. Last time I went brought one of these bad boys - a great price for 54 oz. So Rose hopefully you've got one near you or someone you know is near one.

    http://www.hotukdeals.com/deals/coconut-organic-extra-virgin-11-99-costco-1989535

£11.99 (can't remember if paid VAT on this one or not sorry). Please ignore some of the comments below link based on a link for non organic oil posted by someone. This is cold pressed organic, no chemical extraction - I had wanted to buy some last year but horrendous price for small pot in health food shop.

£21.99 direct from supplier via Amazon.

Edit - just adding link to comments made on Amazon site as make more sense then those on HDUK Costco offer link. http://www.amazon.co.uk/Carrington-Farms-Unrefined-Pressed-Coconut/product-reviews/B0094IX9FC/ref=dpx_acr_txt?showViewpoints=1

Thanks, I bought some of this from Costco today. Can confirm £11.99 with no VAT. I've been putting it in tea and coffee, it tastes really nice :)
