    Yes, very very disappointed.

My dear husband always says when I'm angry, it's fine. It's when I'm disappointed that you have to look out. :rotfl: :D

Well there's a surprise. Just checked A and my E vouchers are in for the shop I did on Monday:T

Noticed tonight that the Croft Particular Sherry is half price down to £5. Might stick a couple of bottles in a C and C which might pick up M's £8.99 price

Just over £3 a bottle is a cracking price and more Christmas pressies bought:T

    they came in yesterday

£6.88 they just started stocking up for tomorrow as mine shuts at 8pm

I know a few of us will be using the last of our GR vouchers this weekend. Don't leave it too late as once all the chickens have gone thats it. I've seen the shutters down on the chiller cabinets by Sunday lunchtime at some stores as they are out of mains:o

I think you're admirable for coping with 3 autoimmune diseases and managing to remain cheerful! Others would crack under a lot less stress than that.

It was affecting my life to the point that I would get home from 6th form or uni classes by early afternoon, then go to bed and sleep until tea time. Even now I fall asleep on the sofa by about 9 o'clock and usually need a nap for a few hours on a Sunday afternoon. I've been reading about a possible link to fluoride on the web link, which is interesting, but it doesn't seem to make any suggestions as to how to go about avoiding it.

Iodine detoxifies fluoride and most of us don't consume enough iodine. Take no notice of the recommended daily allowances on kelp supplements. We actually need as much as 12.5mg per day

My dear friend - let us call her lambchop - who lurks on here but doesn't dare to post herself - sent this to me earlier this evening. She said it reminded her of someone (ie my wicked Alfie). I instantly guessed it would have been tweets who posted it. :D Made us really laugh. :rotfl:

lambchop - I dare you to sign on and post something! :p xx

Thank you Arthien, I'm sure many of us wish our health was better, but I really am very grateful for my relative good health!
Like you I used to fall asleep. It wasn't a choice, I would just fall unconsious! I had test done that showed my cortisol levels were very low.
I can't remember the last time had had a nap in the day now? It has been many years I know that! :j
There is lots of good info on the TPA website. I avoid toothpaste with flouride, I use a weleda herbal toothpaste instead.
:j:j hello, another TPA member here, it's a fabulous site. Having got hold of a copy of my medical records I can now see my Thyroid has been failing for over 10 years but have just today got an appointment to see an endo at the hospital.....it will be interesting to see who knows most about my Thyroid problems :D hopefully I will get someone who won't try to fob me off & will do the elusive T3 tests & not just the TSH which is as useful as a chocolate teapot without taking actual symptoms seriously.
Would advise anyone who thinks they may have Thyroid problems to visit the site, there are thousands of people being told "the blood tests are fine, you're just depressed/menopausal/have ME/ChronicFatigue etc":eek::eek::mad::mad::mad:GPs often have little training in this area and usually just do the standard blood tests which often don't flag up the fact that the Thyroid hormones in the body can't work properly if they can't be converted to T3 which is the hormone which actually gets into the cells. This is a very complicated process which also depends on certain levels of minerals to function correctly.
TPAUK.com is full of useful info and links and everyone is very supportive & Sheila who runs the site is an :A

    Hi Cashless Cow!

I agree it is tragic that so many people are fobbed off and told they have M.E., Chronic Fatigue etc. and some people have lost decades struggling on like that before their thyroid or adrenal problems are finally disagnosed. :(

I agree Sheila & the others are angels. I can never repay them for how their helped me to get educated & well. xxx
