YBS/Credit Suisse Protected Capital Account - Tracked Growth ? Compensation

Evening all,

My mother and father in law have brought me a letter they have received regarding the above account they took out with YBS in 2011 for a 6 year term.

The letter states that the FCA has ruled that the investment had unclear marketing material and they may be due compensation. The letter does not make clear what.

There is also the offer to cancel the account now and receive the equivalent of 3.74% AER interest plus compensation.

I'm going to do some research into the account but was wondering if anyone else here was in the same boat or if they had any marketing material from the original investment?

Hi, I also received a similar letter re the investment. I have read the ruling but do not see any information with regard to compensation. I will endeavour to find out and post any further info.
