If not I am sure you have been together long enough to know how to get around him
Good luck

TTFTM good girl, I hope you can have an appointment fairly quickly.
We have probably all done the same as you, waited thinking we will be better, but sometimes we need a helping hand.
Much love

Hi De Hi campers! Back from our mid week break to the Isle of Wight.
Thank goodness for sat nav and well done to the person who invented it. We bought a new one this year.
The sat nav must save us pennies on getting lost. Oh said he liked how it said what lane he should be in and name of road.
We hired a Parks Resorts bronze caravan. We took our dog with us.
Stayed at Thorness bay near Cowes.
The caravan was the worst we have ever had with Park resorts.
We arrived at 5pm and got the key. The caravan had not been cleaned. Missed off the cleaning rota. Strange as there were clean sheets on the beds?
Staff came and cleaned kitchen and bathroom as Oh did not want another van.
I take a lot of my own things thank goodness. Own pans and food steamer as we home cook.Extra throws for beds. own chopping board and basen for sink.
This caravan site is out in the countryside. Lots of large oak tree's around the vans. I got lots of gnat bites. Glad I took my E45 cream.Have since bought Anthisan cream and also dabbed on white vinegar (os style).
On holiday we do a lot of walking with our dog.
We visited Carisbrooke castle - English Heritage members.
Northwood Park near Cowes. Free park to let the dog run around.
Walked along Sandown seafront and ate a £1.50 - 99 icecream each.
Walked along Cowes sea front and watched the Red funnel ferries coming in.
Had several walks around the large caravan park.
Now home again, here in Hampshire.Nothing like your own placeThe secret to success is making very small, yet constant changes.:)0 -

We've been together almost 25yrs and this is the FIRST time I've forgotten his birthday card :rotfl:. Considering that I'm 'STILL waiting for my birthday present from back in May' - I think he's got a damn cheek - though, to be honest he DID get me a card at the time plus I couldn't think what I'd like as a present. But I still don't think that was a good enough reason not to get me anything at all.
I thought he'd have given me some money to get a new outfit before we went away at the beginning of June - but No, he didn't.
I know exactly how to get round him - but it ain't worth the effort when he's behaving like a spoilt child :rotfl:! At the moment, he's still in bed and hasn't bothered opening the cards that his sister and her children brought down yesterday evening.
Just to add, he's 16yrs younger than me and was separated from my exOH of 17yrs before we met. I've got adult children and dgk's who consider him to be 'their grandad' - but right now, he's behaving worse than any of THEM............... bloody idiot!
I'm thinking of going out into the garden for the afternoon and leaving him to 'stew in his own silliness' :rotfl:.
Thanks for the thoughts - luv Lilyplonk xx0 -
Morning, (((((((((((((((hugs)))))))))))))))))) if you need one.
A bright morning, sun keeps peeping out and then going in, its rather chilly too, autumn is here.
OH is in the garden doing the supports fro the clematis we put in a few weeks ago, a couple of them are going a bit wild, need to be tied in.
Prepped the supper, loin of pork roast, roasties, rosemary and garlicc stuffing balls, carrots, calebrese and carrots. The last of the apple and blackberry crumble for dessert.
No sewing today DD2 and DGD coming on their way home from a walk.0 -
Morning all,
Just checked it was still morning, feels like mid afternoon! Had to drop the bf to work for ten, on the way out the car park I spotted a flat with a decorated Christmas tree in the window! I thought I was bad for admiring some of the decs that appeared in Next this weekend, didn't buy yet though!
Quiet weekend has been had, picked up the bf after work Friday and had a sofa night. Had to visit town yesterday to return a cardi. Did some laundry and ironing, baked banana bread.
Plans for today are a catch up on sky+, finish the laundry and some housework. Need to start some getting ready for going away next week.
Its a holiday weekend here so no work tomorrow :-)
Hugs to the poorlies, hope you're all having a good weekend

Have estate agents coming on Wednesday to value the house so have been clearing up madly. Spent all day yesterday clearing out every cupboard in the kitchen , throwing out stuff , washing shelves and rearranging stuff.
Spent this morning helping DH move stuff around in the bedroom to make better use of space.
Saw oncologist with DH on Friday and it turns out the MRI scan shows that radiotherapy will be possible :j Even better he intends to "aggressively treat" DH's tumour and will use chemo as well :j:j
Looks as if the next seven weeks will have DH visiting hospital in Leeds every day for treatment so will be uncomfortable and tiring for him but we are both so relieved that some form of treatment is possible.
Local estate agent tells me bungalows sell as soon as they go on the market which is a bit daunting but as we have not put our house on the market yet perhaps it is just as well we have not seen something we love.
TTTM
Glad you are going to see the GP and hope you get better soon.
Made herby chicken for lunch with yorkies, stuffing, mash, green beans and sugar snap peas. Made DH a veg and potato mash and baked fish as it is easier for him to chew. Also made a pot of pea soup for him for later which is his favourite.
Hugs to all"This site is addictive!"

Elona that is good news, sounds as though the Oncologist is throwing everything at it. It is positive thinking and action by the hospital and will give you all hope for a period of recovery.
Much love
