Adult bibs

Because I'm fed up of having to change my top because I've spilt my tea down myself...
Bit of help please:
Can someone please tell me where the best place to get re-useable adults bibs is? A lot of mess is just below the neckline on my t-shirt and having looked somewhere online ages ago, (vague, I know!) there doesn't seem to be anything much out there that covers up my top part that far.

Although it is a charity that supplies products for disabled children, they have a range of neckerchiefs and bibs in larger sizes.0 -
If you can't find anything, what about tying a tea towel around you... Or tucking it into your neckline or collar?0

I like the look of those kerchiefs, but what I was going to suggest was haunting the charity shops and buying a load of silk scarves, then learning different ways of tying them - ends trailing or not, square ones or long. If they're multicoloured the tea stains won't show, in all probability, and you'll just be 'Indie Kid who always wears scarves' (rather than Indie Kid who wears a bib).Signature removed for peace of mind0

Get a plastic baby bib from Poundland and extend with insert to fit around your neck. I use one when I eat Juicy Oranges, Pomegranates and it wipes clean after use -

I just typed Adult bib into amazon
There are disposable ones.. http://www.amazon.co.uk/Ability-Superstore-Pack-Disposable-Bibs/dp/B008U8PGPI/ref=sr_1_15?s=drugstore&ie=UTF8&qid=1411325393&sr=1-15&keywords=adult+bibs
horrendous checked things ..
but a few pages in they start listing adult bandana/bib protector an dthey look better but no good if you want to protect lap aswell.
What about a 'tabard' style apron?0 -
I have this problem too. I just wear house clothes (t-shirt and jogging bottoms or pyjama bottoms) and when the t-shirt has too many stains on it throw it in the wash and put another one on.
Depends if you have many visitors I suppose.0 -
We don't have that many visitors. However, getting orange food stains out of white clothing is a right pain!Sealed pot challenge #232. Gold stars from Sue-UU - :staradmin :staradmin £75.29 banked

For fresh stains, spray a lemon cleaner onto them and pop straight into the washer. This works quite a lot of the time.
A more expensive solution is to buy the Samsung Eco Bubble, which has a brilliant stainaway wash cycle. Even old stains have come out since I bought my machine last year, and I don't use any fancy washing powder, just two 10ml spoons of Costco's own.0 -
BTW, chaps with similar problems to Indie Kid might want to consider open neck shirts with cravats, again I'd suggest patterned ones because the stains wouldn't show so much. They may be harder to get hold of, mind you, but I've never looked for them in charity shops. Once more, it's not a bib if you do that, it's a fashion statement.Signature removed for peace of mind0
