Stuck in a mobile phone contract - Help!
Options
I am 13 months into a 24-month mobile phone contract with O2. I have completed an analysis report of my recent phone bills and it appears that I am substantially underusing my contract deal which consists of unlimited minutes, unlimited texts and 2048MB of data. I have spoken with O2 Customer Services to try and downgrade my contract of which they said there is nothing they can do, they can only upgrade contracts. It appears the only way I can get out of this £43 per month contract is to pay £323.50 to pay off the rest of my line rental or I can wait until the 28th June 2015 for my 1 month early upgrade. I really don't need all this unlimited usage and would like to pay for only what I require. I would appreciate it if anyone has any advice or has been in a similar situation and discovered a route to getting out of this. I am trying to cut down on all costs where possible but not sure if there is an escape route to this one. Please help. Thank you.

As a scientist you must understand that you can't "underuse" unlimited allowance as 10/unlimited = 100/unlimited = 1000/unlimited = 0.I really don't need all this unlimited usage and would like to pay for only what I require.I am trying to cut down on all costs where possible0 -

Sell the phone they gave you and use that to subsidise the future rental, buy a cheap phone to put your sim into.====0 -
