Netflix connection fail

Can anyone help me with Netflix. I can get NF on my ipad perfectly. But I cant get it on my TV. I have bought the Apple connector and the logo comes on the screen and then says I do not have the internet connection.

The Sky hub is brand new and in working order. How come therefore can I not get my TV to show the movies off NF.

Im not very good at the terminology used but in plain english would be very helpful.....

My tv is a 7 yr old Panasonic. Still got life in it yet as it has a brilliant picture and never breaks down! Yet.

I have tried Sky forums alongside Apple (as the connector and ipad are both made by Apple). I have trawled through youtube vids of how to fix problem. No joy.

Not the same problem but when my parents got a new sky hub rather than the router there has been no AirPlay from the iPad to tv although they were using a smart blue ray player to do this, connected router back up and all working fine

Have you entered the correct details in order to connect to your Wi-Fi?

If you have then I'll stab a guess that your TV does not support the Apple Wi-Fi dongle (connector) that you bought, maybe you should go through the instructions for your TV and see what models (if any) that are supported.
