Downgrading 3 contract
Hi,
I'm just over 15 months into a 24 month contract with 3. I've grown tired of never having a signal in the 3 main places I use my phone.
I called 3 to downgrade my contract (as per the information on this site)
However, 3 tell me that I'm unable to downgrade my contract until the 24 months is up. Is this correct?
Thanks
Neil

Most of the networks stopped allowing downgrades within the minimum term some time back. As the G man says above, not all the info on here is anywhere near up to date...0

OK, thanks for the info.0

Are you referring to this old MSE article?
http://www.moneysavingexpert.com/phones/cancel-mobile-contracts
If you look at any (most?) MSE articles, it willl show at the top RHS the last date it was updated.
In this case, 15-Mar-2011
That should give you a clue
Here is a more up to date articel (last updated 19-Sep-2014)
http://www.moneysavingexpert.com/phones/mobile-phone-cost-cutting#cancel
It indicates you can only cancel your contract with Three early if you have issues with coverage.0
