I was talking to a friend about fuel prices and I could remember there was outrage when I first started driving as it hit £1.00 p/l.
You Young'uns
I remember the shock and outrage when it broke through the £1 a gallon barrier
Mind you, we only earned 30 bob a week working down the Pit.........;)I want to go back to The Olden Days, when every single thing that I can think of was better.....

53 plate fiesta? Nope, you'll kill it.
I got rid of a TDCI Mondeo so I could start using veg, they were unfeasible to use it in.

1 Tank kit can run on veg, 2 tank needs to start on diesel before switching over to veg when warm. Unfeasible means the work needed to rebuild your pump makes the expense too much.0 -
Your fiesta wont last long on veg oil. Its been tried and you will have serious issues VERY quickly.
Whether its a spare or not. How will killing it save money? Sell it and buy something suitable.

Its fine to add to it to some cars without preheaters or seperate systems at 100%. Its also ok to thin veggie with some petrol. Common rails dislike it but the real sticking point is the fuel pump. I have a a car that would be fine to run it but the pump wont allow it. You are allowed 2500 litres efore you need to talk to the tax man. Genuine savings are clearly possible, more so if you use waste veggie oil.0
