Phone reporting unstable wifi - software error
OH recently had his Galaxy S3 die on him. Now has a replacement which keeps reporting our wifi because is unstable. No it is not and he never had this error message before.
Looking it up, turns out it is an error in the 4.3 operating system on the phone. Something to do with how it recognises the router. Lots of fixes proposed but none seem to work. Some say problem is a Netgear router issue which conflicts with 4.3 OS and suggest changing or reconfiguring router - cannot do this as it is a) supplied by Virgin as part of VM package and b) no idea how to.
Just to add, the phone was supplied with 4.3 by Orange as a replacement under his phone insurance. It is being used straight out of the box, no tweaks.
Has anyone else had this fault and if so how have you fixed it?
