Can the Motorola E phone be unlocked easily?

Tesco are selling the Motorola E 4g phone on Vodafone for £75 which is the cheapest price I have found.
But is it easy to unlock this phone? I know the Motorola G is easy to unlock for £2 with a code from Ebay but the Motorola E appears harder to unlock.
Should I just buy the more expensive SIM free version at £89?

I think its quite easy to unlock the Moto E but you can get the old version of the G for £90 from Tesco and Amazon (although you would have to get it unlocked).0 -
